Family Enrichment of Massachusetts offers courses to help husbands and wives grow stronger as married couples and support them in developing a unified approach to raising their children so they can face the daily challenges that come up in their family with confidence, flexibility, and good humor.
Family Enrichment uses the case study method and offers courses that teach couples how to apply the method learned in the course to their own family situations. The methodology of the courses is essentially participatory, consisting in discussion of the cases in small group meetings and in a moderated general session. The principles of freedom, respect for the opinions of others, and friendship are key to the group discussions and the foundation for growth as individuals, as couples, and as parents.
In the midst of the conflicts and crises that we may encounter in this phase of our lives, some of the values passed down by our families during our upbringing may start to lose their sharpness as they get tested, compared, and integrated into our lives.
During this journey, we will have the opportunity to discover the true value of our relationship and learn how to communicate effectively, especially in moments of crisis. It is essential for us to understand and support each other during these challenging times, just like parents do when dealing with their adolescent children.
